Location: Angola
Project Type : FPSO
Date : 2016
SCOPE OF WORK
Onshore activities prior FPSO departure from Singapore
Offshore activities once the FPSO has arrived on the KAOMBO field (Block 32) in Angola.
ONSHORE ACTIVITIES
The onshore activities will cover only mooring activities (mooring SITs). The following work will be performed.
- TEST# 1 Lowering of one chain stopper with all fittings from transit position to mooring position (during FPSO sea trials, at sea offshore Singapore)
- TEST# 2 Routing of pull in winch cable through chain stopper (during FPSO sea trials, at sea offshore Singapore)
- TEST# 3 Chain handling cutting simulation (FPSO at quayside in Sembawang shipyard)
- TEST# 4 Chain extraction out of turret (FPSO at quayside in Sembawang shipyard)
OFFSHORE ACTIVITIES

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
KAOMBO is a multi-field hub, planned as a FPSO development involving two FPSO vessels designed to handle about 105 000 barrels per day of oil each and storing capacity of 300 000 bbl (oil barrel) each
The KAOMBO project is located in Block 32 offshore Angola in water depths up to 2 000 meters
It comprising 6 development areas
The engineering work started in Paris ( Leiden (the Netherlands) and Luanda ( with most of the offshore installation activities in 2016 The project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2018
