DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
PFLNG SATU is the second FLNG development in the world after the Prelude FLNG, which is being developed by Shell and is expected to come on stream in 2017.
PETRONAS Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (PFLNG) is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility custom-built as a vessel to liquefy, produce, store and offload LNG. The Petronas Floating LNG will capitalize on the availability of the gas resulting from the development of several gas fields in Malaysia. The design basis is based on new built vessel.
Construction of the facility started in June 2013 and was completed in March 2016.
Our team has been involved on the offshore installation phase: station-keeping, chain hookup, riser installation and pre-commissioning.
